Can Retail Drive Recovery In Large Downtowns and If So, How?
As one who always casts a skeptical eye towards the received wisdom of the day and who abhors the tendency towards orthodoxy, I believe that impassioned debate between opposing viewpoints is a good and important thing for our industry. In this spirit, colleague N. David Milder and I — both of us, fierce and feisty New Yorkers — have collaborated on a new column, titled “THE DOWNTOWN CURMUDGEON VS THE RETAIL CONTRARIAN”, that will appear regularly in the American Downtown Revitalization Review (ADRR).
