An extinction-level event? Well, no — not yet, anyway. While central business districts (CBD’s) have no doubt been hit hard by the pandemic, urban neighborhood main streets seem to be hanging in, even adding new storefront businesses to replace some of what has been lost — especially in sub-markets with strong demand fundamentals and unique psycho-graphic profiles.
